As public playtests are a thing of yesteryear and far frontier and it seemed a fun hobby, I looked to fill in a gap in MR gaming experiences by making edits to applicable board games to fit them into the MR world back when the game had Lore. Obviously no longer relevant an unpolished draft with typos and artifacts all over but thought I would put up what was done for those that might find it interesting and bring back a fun memory or two.
In honour of the once cannon backstory established in the High Command RPG Chip ran, this is an edit of the classic Dune board game. The Gale force 9 release was the easiest source material to make use of. Below is the rulebook, player materials and cards. These at proper size and other assets are in THIS LINK as PNG and STL files. Some of the names for faction leaders are portmanteaus which might vaguely miff some as well as the AI generated depiction, don't tell me if it does as I very probably don't care, consider them distant relatives in a none cannon tale if it helps. As the actual text of the HC game was on the old forums and the combined picture was only visible to Chip (and maybe other staff) anyway we will only get the "real" story of it if Chip wants to do a write up of whatever he had saved or can remember.
