Love that idea!

Question: I'm a massive fan of the idea of bounty hunters (permits allowing). Like on colonies or TU worlds wide. Is a bounty system (one that is hard to abuse) something you're thinking of adding? Other than the official CPC dept. This could also work both ways for assassination contracts.
Yes. The mercs will have a lot of fun contracts - one of the ones that's being discussed is bounty hunting.

I just read up on all the development updates so cheers to you guys for coming such a long way, in one of them you mentioned a C.E.F road map (Combat, Economy, Factions) and after you finished, an extended test would happen (Pardon me if this test already happen).

1. Where are we in the road map?
2.How long is this test going to be?
3. What are the future milestones in the road map?

1. We're still in Economy.
2. Depends on the features that will be tested, maybe a month? We'll let you know when the time comes.
3. After we implement faction mechanics we'll be focusing on preparing our marketing/crowdfunding campaign to scale the game up while testing.

So I've been reading up about the mega corps and lore wise North Star makes liberal use of indentured and penal workers. I was wondering if that's just fluff or if there are plans on the table to actually incorporate this into gameplay mechanics.

For example, if the government allows it, NSM can arrest most wanted individuals and instead of the regular prison they get send to a NSM mining facility to work off their PP with the ore profits going to NSM. So if you go most wanted you don't just have the Government chasing you but also corporate goons wanting to make a quick buck.

Or maybe give the choice for the arresting officer to send them to the facility of his choosing?

Or maybe even a joint venture between NSM and CPC? To really get that dystopian private prison vibe going.

You should make a suggestion thread for this, I think it’d open up new avenues for nsm Cpc interaction, albeit the mining would have to relieve pp at a very high rate to stay interesting.

In principal it's an interesting idea to have some sort of link to NSM with the prison. Wouldn't mind seeing more options/suggestions for how to provide a link between NSM and Ceres.

Sounds interesting. Care to create a suggestion thread with several options/routes you can think of?

Will geography, time and distance influence the game?

So having a solar system planets would have to rotate with their elliptical path at points in time their distance is much greater than usual would this change the prices for planet-to-plate transportation.
Would extraterrestrial bodies like asteroids clash with planets and create creators actually affecting the map, so facilities being damaged, landmarks being reduced to rubble and creators being rich with minerals. This could also introduce new species of Xenomorphs, due to the seasons changing certain Xenomorphs would come out of hibernation. Maps could also be unlocked so passing by asteroids can be traveled to mined for short lengths of time.

Time and distance might be a little too complicated to implement in reality, however we will have dynamic events that can happen on certain worlds at "random". Alien infestations will be one of those, as will spawning of rare minerals, having an asteroid fall to create something like that isn't a bad idea.

Are there any intentions currently for implementing a Real Cash Marketplace?

What sort of things would you be selling on this marketplace were it to exist? (Cosmetics, Boosters, Homes/Properties, e.t.c...)

Also While I remember This, Will there be "Player Made Factions?"
By this I mean two things:

1. A Faction that a player, or group of players, pay for to have implemented into the game with a fleshed out background, and a primary directive of their faction. Such as mercenary work, agricultural work, e.t.c...

OR

2. A "Faction" that's part of another faction, like a sister company or an MOS in the military, that works on one primary job type that the faction can do, like a "faction" under GotC that does only VIP Escorts and Security Work...?

At the moment there are no plans of allowing players to implement their own factions. Players can, however, create departments within an existing faction and have other people join them, granted it's allowed by the leaders of said faction.

1. Do ya'll have future dates for players testing? If so, can ya'll share the dates?
2. What roles will citizens have if they refuse to join any faction? What are the ups and downs of staying as a citizen?
3. I see that under donations, $30 will get you Alpha Access. When is Alpha Access?
