what do you think should there be a turning speed limitation? or should turning speed be a variable for combat?

example you cant turn more than 360 degrees a second

you turn at 270 degrees,

Wearing heavy armor reduces turning speed by 30% etc

certain Drug gives turning speed , which helps you reach the max

High on drugs? naked? you turn fast!

The issue with using Drugs to adjust your turning speed is all they would do is alter your perception of turning quickly.

"Heavy Armor" would alter the rate at which you could also aim down the sights of your gun and how far you could even lift your arms to do that. (I imagine someone walking around with a Pulse Rifle dressed as a medieval knight.)

one of the absolute worst things you can do in a freelook aiming shooter is take any amount of control out of the player's hands

this definitely falls into that category

Turning speed limitations would be infuriating for players. it would place a limiter on a players skill. Heavy armor punishments should more be general movement limitation based on stamina, speed, or an increased reload time.

Turning speed would only make sense if I'd run around with a tankturret on my head.
